Thank you so much for considering me as your officiant. I am a pastor by trade, and would love the opportunity to work with you to make your wedding day the most romantic and most fun days of your lives.

Getting Started & FAQ’s

How do we get started?

You call me or send me an email with your date and if I have your wedding date free, we’ll set up a time to meet. We can do that in person or on the phone or FaceTime or Zoom, whatever is best for you. This gives us the opportunity to get to know each other and go over the wedding ceremony details and ways I can personalize the ceremony so it fits you! If you choose to use my services I’II send you your wedding homework in an email and at the top of the homework is a link to make your deposit. You deposit is a donation to Children’s Heritage Foundation to further our work in Haiti and helps provide food and housing and education to an orphanage in Haiti and is tax deductible! See my “Why I Do What I Do” page for more information about our outreach to Haiti.

How much do you charge?

My fees vary depending on day of week and type of service:

  • Saturday Wedding – $700
  • Friday or Sunday Wedding- $600
  • Monday through Thursday Wedding – $500
  • Simple Elopement – Flexible schedule- $300

That fee includes an original wedding ceremony written specifically for you. If you still want a fun officiant who will connect with your audience but you don’t want me to tell your love story, subtract $100. A $100 deposit is due to book the date. A $100 fee will be charged for weddings outside of Maricopa County. The balance is paid the week of your wedding. I accept cash and checks but my preferred method of payment is Venmo.

If you are planning a ceremony last minute (Monday-Thursday) I am happy to help you! Call me up and we can pick a great location in the Phoenix area for your perfect wedding. Last minute ceremonies do not include telling your history and cost $500.

I offer a 10% discount for military couples.

Do you come to the rehearsal dinner?

Typically I don’t need to come to the rehearsal. Wedding coordinators run the show and I just get in the way. We will have met by this time and you will have an outline of my part. The rehearsal is mainly for the people walking in to know where to stand. If you need me to be at or run the rehearsal, this can be arranged for an extra fee of $200.

How long is a wedding on average?

20-25 minutes is the basic time once it gets started. If we add extras like readings, songs, unity candles, etc. it takes longer, but never over 30 minutes.
